The Satellite Visualization Tool (tm) Release One
====================================================================
Do you like the performance, organization, and capabilities of
PC-TRACK, but find that there are other things that you wish it were
capable of? Do you need:
* The ability to display graphics in higher resolution
(up to 1280x1024).
* The ability to define the 3D viewpoint "on the fly."
* The capability of defining and visualizing satellite and
site sensor areas of coverage. (separate from footprint).
* The abililty to define satellites sensors with either
conical or planar coverage.
* The ability to visualize orbit shapes and their relationships
to other orbits.
* The ability to visualize orbit propagation over time.
* The capability of computing and visualizing mutually visible
passes in 3D, on a mercator projection, or against a star
background.
* The capability of tracking over 200 satellites at a time.
* The ability to compute the visibility between sites and
satellites based on sensor coverage.
====================================================================
If you need any of these capabilities, then you need The Satellite
Visualization Tool (SVT) from Johnson Scientific International.
The SVT is a professional visualization tool capabable of all of
these things and more. The SVT is excellent for:
* Demonstrating astrodynamic principals.
* Visualizing satellite constellations.
* Determining site sensor cabilities.
* Analyzing "see and be seen" scenarios.
* Computing areas of coverage of satellite sensors.
* Visualizing satellite sensor swaths.
* Making visual presentations.
* Analyzing constellation coverage.
* Previewing visible passes.
====================================================================
The SVT requires an IBM compatible computer based on the 80486DX CPU,
4-16 MB RAM, VESA graphics capablity, and 4 MB of disk space.

Here are a few comments from some satisfied SVT customers:
"I do find your program extremely useful for work with the Cospas-
Sarsat and Inmarsat satellites. Good displays, good data."
"Impressive"
"looks like a winner"
"I especially like the AER Chart... and the Site Display that works
great when realtime tracking the polar orbiting satellites."
"A lot of effort has obviously gone into making the documentation as
complete as possible. It is clearly drafted and I usually found what
I wanted quickly."
"A great program. And the VESA-graphics are super."
"The documentation was very helpful. Especially the table of contents
and glossary was well appreciated."
"The on-line help was helpful."
"Your response to a question I e-mailed to you was prompt and right
on the button. I was very appreciative."
"Very easy to learn."
"The program fufilled all my expectations. I especially enjoyed the
great deal of creative control over the graphic display. The
satellite view against the night sky was an interesting addition."
"I don't think I could improve on the existing version."
"I would definitely recommend this program to both friends and
professional contacts."
"It exceeded my expectations for technical excellence and will be a
very useful tool for years to come."
"Your program, SVT, will be one of the valuable cornerstones of my
research."
"In short, a fine and valuable tool for satellite research..."
